Honoured actress of Russia

Was born in Leningrad. In 1994 graduated Saint-Petersburg state Conservatoire n.a. N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov (class of solo singing). Being on the third course of the conservatory, she made her debut in the Theatre of musical comedy in the part of Odetta in operetta by I. Kalman “Bayader” and was taken on the troupe as a solo singer.

During her work in the theatre she performed in such leading parts as: Bastjenna (“The Impresario” W.A. Mozart), Nedda (“Clowns” R. Leoncavallo),Emma (“Meetings in Vienna” J. Strauss), Madlen (“Ball at Savoy” P. Abraham), Kupavina (“Fortune-turkey” S. Banevich), Fleurette and Baroness (“Bluebeard” and "Parisian Life" J. Offenbach),  Carlotta (“Gasparone” K. Millocker"). 

Today her repertoire includes: Valentina and Hanna (“Merry Widow” F. Lehar), Silva, Teodora  and Maritza (“Silvia”, “Mister X”  and “Countess Maritza” by I. Kalman), Duchess (“The Bird Seller” C. Zeller), Marquise Pompadour ("Madame Pompadour" L. Fall), Hansy Grubber ("Spring Parade" R. Stolz), Nina ("Sevastopol waltz" K. Listov), Marfa (“Womanich revolt” E. Ptichkin).

She performed on tour in cities of Russia, Germany, Norway, Luxembourg. In 1992 she participated in performing of «Regina Caeli» mass by W.A. Mozart conducted by H. Rott in the UNESCO hall in Paris. From 1997 performed on the stage of Saint-Petersburg theatre of opera and ballet n.a. M.P. Mussorgsky: Donna Elvira (“Don Giovanni” W.A. Mozart), Iolanta (“Iolanta” P. Tchaikovsky), Tatyana (“Eugene Onegin” P. Tchaikovsky). In 2003 performed as a drama actress on the stage of theatre “Baltiyskiy Dom” in the performance “Life of Ivan Iljich” (based on the story by I. Goncharov “Oblomov”).

In 2004 Alina Alekseeva was given the rank of "Honoured actress of Russia".
